Kaze Mori

Clan Samurai and Oni Hunter

Past:

Kaze came from the once powerful Mori clan, a clan now night destroyed , save him by The Empire. Once they were guardian Samurai who kept the courts of Doma safe from "Oni" Which seemed to be those humans who had mysterious powers, some say like Ysayle they became minor primals. Kaze was but boy when his family was slaughtered and while he had among other things a natural resistance to tempering and the scrolls of his family he did not have much first hand experience as a boy only stories. It would be much later he discovered the secrets of his family but is close mouthed about them. Kaze was taken in an raised by a Ronin who also escaped the Imperial soldiers and raised hard to learn the way of the samurai.

Present

Kaze of late has started to thrive after years of hardly able to get by, over time he has learned much of his clan's abilities so besides working as a Samurai he has started to be used as an exorcist of Oni or slayer of them if necessary. Though his path means he often decides how dangerous an "oni" is and if they are past redemption.
Between these jobs, at 32 he is starting to consider whether it is time to rebuild the Mori clan and settle down.

Equipment:

Kaze is skilled in using the Katana, the Nodachi, as well the Naginanta and Yari. His Katana is know in Doman as, "The Wind Serpent's Tail." The Nodachi, "The Oni Robe Cutter." His current Naginata is dubbed the "Coeurl's Fang"
